Cairo – Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) offered treasury bills (T-bills) at a total value of EGP 34 billion through two auctions on Sunday, 12 March, according to official data.
The first issue was valued at EGP 13 million, holding a tenor of 91 days until 13 June 2023.
Meanwhile, the second offering stood at EGP 21 billion and will mature in 273 days on 12 December this year.
On 9 March, the CBE auctioned T-bills at a combined value of EGP 43.50 billion through two tranches.
